Enjoy the Theater in St. Martin Parish

With a mission to foster art and culture while shaping the future of public education and community development in South Louisiana, the Acadiana Center for the Arts is a nonprofit organization that supports the formation of art, exhibits, performances, festivals and public art across St. Martin Parish. AcA works with over 300,000 people annually. Ticketed performances, free events and exhibition openings are also supported by AcA.

Balance Point sparks the artistic creativity in each child, guiding them through tap, jazz and ballet techniques and self-expression, and allowing room to shine and grow.

Located in Lafayette’s Oil Center, the Heymann Performing Arts Center, the established auditorium is home to internationally renowned performances and locally curated artists. Broadway musicals, symphony, popular concerts and theatre are performed on stage. The theater’s 168 seating capacity and state-of-the-art acoustical arrangement projects an intimate listening experience.

Teche Center for the Arts aims to serve as the principal cultural, arts, music, education, and historical center for residents and tourists of Saint Martin Parish and beyond.
